Tarrant County Judge

Glen Whitley has been Tarrant County Judge since 2006 and was a county commissioner for 10 years before that. He is a member of the University of North Texas System Board of Regents and has held leadership positions with the National Association of Counties, the North Central Texas Council of Governments, the Regional Transportation Council and the Texas Conference of Urban Counties.

Local elected officials welcome the opportunity to talk with state leaders to find common ground on these issues and the principle of local control. That’s a principle I’ve never stopped believing in, nor will I stop fighting for it.
