John Sharp is the commissioner of the Governor’s Commission to Rebuild Texas, which is dedicated to rebuilding critical public infrastructure in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. He is also chancellor of the Texas A&M University System, a position he has held since September 6, 2011, and a former state comptroller and legislator.
