Director, Institute for Health Policy, UTHealth School of Public Health
Stephen Linder, PhD is the Director of the Institute for Health Policy at UTHealth School of Public Health. He was on the faculty of UCLA and Tulane University before coming to the School of Public Health in 1984. He is currently a Distinguished Teaching Professor in Management, Policy and Community Health, and Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences. He received his doctorate in Political Science from the University of Iowa.
Recent research conducted in Houston is beginning to reveal how far-reaching the risk of diabetes really is and how even people who may not consider themselves vulnerable may be on a path to developing the disease.
